For those recently displaced, how long did it take for you to be eligible to rollover your 401K from empower after your end date? As i understand it in your empower profile you have to be switched from "active" in terms of WF employment?

Why bother with them. Have whoever you are going to do it for you. Or keep it there and be lazy like me.
@cn thats what happened to me. multiple pesky calls and emails from Empower. the calls stopped once i explained i already had a CFP. rolled 401k over to IRA under CFP management. so long WF.
Don’t worry…someone from empower will call you and email you multiple times when the time comes. And they’ll keep calling and emailing once or twice a week if you don’t answer/reply. My assigned person has sounded very annoyed from day one when leaving messages. Sure makes me want to work with him.
@a1 Thanks! My last day has passed but empower hasn't updated so i may give WF a call this week.
@OP my last day of working notice was end of Nov. I was able to start roll over early December and had it all done within a week. Empower is updated with status as soon as it is your last day.
