Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Still blame Hans and want change?

ppl on this board have been consistently blaming Hans for years. Now what? This new CEO will do RIF after RIF. No more VSP, just R-fu--ing-IF. Verizon won't be turned around, for sure.

Now what? Blame the new CEO again?

Next round: 1 week for 1 year. lol

@15q It’s a stupid right belief to not see ALL of the ways that tarrifs have affected the economy.

Dan was in the board when Hans was appointed as CEO. He has been here the entire time. Don’t be fooled.

Hans was banking on his golden parachute. The board just found a way around it. Thats why he is sticking around for a year as an advisor. They knew about these layoffs back in April by the way. This was a planned gutting of the company.

Blowell and that group of leaders started the downfall. Hans and his group of euro weenies didn't do anything to fix it.

@15q Naive -

Corporations, and small businesses are (not) able to plan; due to constant Uncertainty from Trump tariffs.

Increased pricing on virtually everything (Inflation) takes money out of the U.S. economy.

For most consumers the choice is between needs, and wants.

Except for the wealthy, and you definitely not; face reality for once.

Fact check Trump lies (on Everything) and the Truth will enlighten you.

Verizon is not impacted by Trump's tariffs. so stop associating layoffs due to trump's tariffs. its a stupid left belief.

Laying off people who were so close to retirement is asinine. Verizon wants to spout this place as a career, what is a career if you cant retire from the job? Big sm--k in the face to the people laid off, and enforces that verizon only cares about money, and not the people that make the money for them. Just the stock price matters, which will continue to suffer from this kind of cut throat mentality.

@OP Numerous Corporations have (New) CEO's.

I can think of several, and the commonality is that; they are (All) doing Layoffs.

Q1 2026 is already scheduled to have (Massive) layoffs especially in the Technology Sector during the March-April timeframe.

Over time, the Unemployment rate may reach 10.0%+ due to Trump tariffs, pandemic overstaffing; restructuring; and AI.

There are (7) Debt Bubbles including the U.S. National debt at $38.5 Trillion (and rising) per usdebtclock.

Almost no one, talks about that.

I do for a reason because ultimately all (7) Debt Bubbles (Do matter) whether people care, or not.
