Why does Wells Fargo continue to promote managers who run teams through intimidation? It makes no sense to me that people who rely only on yelling and threats are seen by those higher up as high performers, but apparently they are, because it keeps happening.

It is a truism that people join companies and leave managers. Thus, a perfect cadre given the Chairman’s hate of Americans.

When you are totally unqualified to be a manger and have no people skills whatsoever, you use intimidation like all bullies use to get attention. Unfortunately, these are the management types they reward.
I've seen managers reprimanded and up to firing for unprofessional conduct such as yelling and threats. If you have the guts and have good evidence, feel free to file that complaint.
Because they want employees to leave voluntarily, and cr-ppy managers give them that. It's not complicated.
fail up I always say. isn't just WF, you'll see this throughout corporate America
su-king up and kicking down is the only way to get ahead around here.
They hire people who are not only d-mb intellectually and emotionally as well
