Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Verizon "Snake Pit"

Verizon sounds like a "Snake Pit!"

I'm glad I'm not working at Verizon anymore as life is too short to drive yourself into the grave with stress.

It's no surprise then that so many Verizon employees suffer from Cardiometabolic conditions like high blood pressure and Type 2 diabetes; and mental health problems like depression and anxiety.

This environment at Verizon to me is more "Black Friday' than going out shopping for one day sales.

@OP don't blame verizon for your own health problems. Maybe take ownership

this is true. I am a nice person. I try to get along and maintain peace with my coworkers. I work with two people who cant be trusted. I think it is ingrained in them to steal your work. The other is very insecure, he says inappropriate things to me about the lay offs. to be honest, you cant really trust anyone at work anymore. you just have to keep to yourself, do your job, protect your work from your coworkers.

Be grateful for Sam as she truly understands that company can’t be great unless her employees feel equally awesome.

She has a selfie on that.

You just wait. Verizon took 26 years to maintain the stock price at 41. Ok it was 42 in 1999 but close enough. It will definitely happen.

You are welcome!
