If some layoffs still happen, I just hope it won’t be as massive as everyone’s been expecting. I need this job. We all do. At least until things get better. Then we can decide to hate it, change it, or move on. Right now, it’s a total sh-tshow out there. My family can’t afford even one of us being jobless for more than a month or two. So, fingers crossed we’ve been wrong all along.

I need this job unitl things get better. 5 years later same excuse rinse repeat. Things will never get better for the worker pleebs.

Maybe you were going thru work life with blinders on. Writing has been on the wall for a loooong time.

@OP I understand the desire to cling to hope, but please understand, that ship has sailed. twenty thousand more people will be looking for a job ten days from now.
