Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Layoffs delayed till Christmas

A few comments on earlier posts mentioned that some of you spoke to the Works Council and the news is that P25 layoffs are delayed till Christmas. Can you share more?

It would be devastating for many if they find out at Christmas that they’re out of a job.

last thing I heard from a manager in France was that there are no layoffs in 2025 in France.

@OP The rumour is specific to Germany and France: it has some credibility because the process of firing more than a certain number of employees is regulated by law and it's a process that takes some time and négociations with work council.

This reminds me of a previous post here where someone said that SAP don't celebrate Christmas...here we have a whole process stoped until we pass christmas...

Due to German green nonsense, Santa can no longer hand out coal for Christmas.

Instead, you're fired.

That's good for some carbon credits, I'm sure.

I am usually well-informed, but I have heart nothing about this.

Let us hope we are through with layoffs for this year.
