Trust the board.
Most of the layoffs will be on the Concur side of the house. Anyone in travel will be getting the boot in small batches over the next 6 months. Those in travel will be hit the hardest with a 90% reduction as Amex takes over the booking tool. Concur Expense, invoice and other Concur departments will be reduced by half but at a much slower rate. I think SAP just wants to destroy what’s left of Concur because I don’t see how Amex and AI are going to make up for all those layoffs. And if Amex is only going to have one level of service for all companies, I don’t know how they are planning on making money. Concur was all about different levels of service. Seems like a destruction on purpose.
I am in the Pittsburgh office and didn't hear anything so far.
There was a Zoom (not Teams) call for managers of people getting let go earlier this week. Most managers do not know who on their team is impacted yet though. They will find out early next week not long before the people getting axed find out.
Both managers and employees are being fired. The company is trying to get manager to employee ratios to at least 10-1. I think that's documented in GTM strategy papers that anyone can find on sharepoint.
OMG.... They're getting WHACKED left and right here in NA..... it's bad, real bad, never seen anything like it. Will be lucky if anybody is left after today. -:) !!

Will it impact products under maintenance (teams under Uma) ?
Will it impact Cloud and AI as well ?
