Thread regarding F5 Networks Inc. layoffs

YES! Forced Resignations are real

I am an NGINX Dev and I'm worried about my friend that works in F5 Digital. I can confirm forced resigns are happening in US and India. Be careful joining F5 Digital Team. If you've doubts, confirm with your friends at F5.

@35q There is no forced resignations unless you have no power. You have power. Look, if they are making work so bad you can’t think of anything else to do but resign, don’t. Don’t go to work. Avoid the bad, go to the movies, go fishing, whatever. Make them fire you. This is what you do. Ask anyone in legal or HR (outside). Don’t resign, that’s exactly what they want. You lose all rights if you resign. Better yet, fight back. Lodge formal complaints with HR, write emails explaining your performance and how you’re being treated. At least get it documented so when they do fire you there’s a paper trail, which they don’t want. But “forced” resignations? Please, have some self respect. And if it’s not you but a friend, show them some real support instead of telling them they are being “forced” to resign. These “forced” resignations posts are insulting to those of us with self respect.

@31n If you work in F5 Digital, you would definitely get to know. Don't comment like an illiterate. I do see some newly joined slaves from OKTA commenting. Stop it! You guys come with an expiry date. Wait for it.

@OP Can you explain how the "forcing" process works? Do they keep a g-n by your head? Do they threaten your family? Do they give a "proposal you can't refuse"? Enlighten us, for God's sake!

@sk No. They are not. Stop working, stop replying to your boss. Get fired. If you’re forced to resign, let me know - I know a prince in Africa that needs $500 from you to make you a billionaire. Forced resignations are not a thing if you have an ounce of self-worth.

Forced resignations only happen if you let them. Yes, you’re being bf forced out. No, you don’t resign. Make them fire you. “Work” from the beach until they make this decision. But don’t resign unless you’re an id--t.

@sk They are only real if you do the wrong thing and resign like an id--t. Get fired. It’s better for you. Don’t be a stupid.

NO! Forced Resignations are not real.

You're either fired, let go in a rif or layoff, or you personally quit. Its not rocket science regardless of what someone hears from a random friend in a different org that one time about a person.

FLD isn't sitting outside your room with a horse's head making you an offer you can't refuse to resign. Don't be d-mb.

Common sense, but some don’t think this through:

@OP NGINX? What’s happening within NGINX or NGINX Console lately? NGINX has been awfully quiet.

You'd think a year later there'd be a flag going up that all the folks coming in are from the same company, middle management is increasing, and things are getting worse. Surprised no one seems to have gone to HR from Digital for how they're treated by management.

@a3 Yes the current leadership only brings back their ex-colleagues , friends so that they can control the syndicate.Micro management is real. How many millions of dollars they have wasted? Yet they some how have budgets to bring more and more leadership positions.
