I have been at this company for 5 months and it’s nothing like it was sold to be in my interviews….. the promise of hybrid work just to be forced back into office. The promise of an upbeat environment just for it to be dull most days. I’ve heard through the grapevine that so many people aren’t happy….. Granted it’s better than Wells in more ways than not lol, but Man!? Am I the only person hired in the least year that feels like I was lied to?

@22f I am a former stage coacher as well. I will say it’s different bad. It also depends where you were at Wells and who you worked for. Both places are equally as bad when you are working for someone who is former BoA.
Former stage coacher as well, looking into other roles before I reach a full year in this role. What a disaster. It's absolutely worse than Wells in some ways and that is saying a lot.
@a4 And you're in NC... imagine the folks who are in the fringes of the footprint. Total disaster.
@16c If all you care about is in office days go work for first citizens or regions. I double doggy dare you to go work for BoA and tell us all how great it is.
How is Truist better than BoA or Wells? BoA, 4 days RTO. Wells, 3 days. IMHO Truist is not better than BoA or Wells in any way, shape or form.
Did you even read the posts here? If so, why take the job, and why act surprised now?
@g3 No. There’s some guy clinging to hopes of AVP….. he’s somewhat optimistic.
Am I the only one who doesn't think it's that bad?
Look at Truist Audit Services for how fast people. There are plenty of posts. It was not what was sold. Many leave in a matter of months it is so ridiculous. The level of incompetence is astounding. Yes it is better than Wells and BoA but that is not saying much.
Had a recruiter message to see why they are seeing so many resumes from Truist. grapevine is speaking!
You fell for the puffing that every employer does.
Honestly, it was a nice job at first but with recent hire and/or promotion of unintelligent, unskilled, and uneducated leaders, there's a shift happening. Just prepare yourself to be gaslighted weekly, and learn not to find reason in unreasonable decisions made by these not-so-smart people.
@a4 It was jarring when I was hired as well, I've worked several places and while every company/location has its issues, this is the only place I have worked where the lying and sleaziness of some managers is off the charts. When I describe it to others outside the company it may sound like an exaggeration when its not. I suppose that's part of the strategy, they are so extreme with/in it that it won't be believed.
I don't know why its even done, it doesn't improve efficiency or profitability, it just feeds some ego desire for the individual. All it would take is giving the right person a mandate and some resources and you could make a living putting these people in prison and/or suing them into oblivion.
If this a real post and not a troll/bait one, it depends on your area. I know things are horrible in NC since that's where BBT Now Suntrust is based out of. If you are outside of NC and the vibe is how you describe it, it proves that the disingenuous culture coming from NC is spreading outward.
