Intel still exists for one reason only, as a welfare money source for Israel. They destroyed the company, but shall inherit its bones.
So, Intel is investing in Israel and not the USA. Also outsourcing jobs to India. Meanwhile, massive job cuts elsewhere. Intel isn’t talking but you can watch the movement and areas of investment to figure out what their GP. It appears the R&D may move to Israel and D1 will be Foundry? TBD. D1 Watching and waiting.

They just did that to appease workers who like money.
This is not a new idea. The did the same thing with foundry early 2025 - took away the bonuses that were in addition to QPB and APB, rolled that percentage into the base pay. In that case, I think it was just under 3%.
