Next round?

There were a some layoffs in January and a large amount this week. When will the next round be? I heard back in 2008/2009 they were about a month apart, followed by furloughs for several months.

What is the situation in Landmark OAK PARK

Apart from the Oil Prices decline, landmark has a problem with their new software products not finding takers because of inherent weaknesses. I wonder whether this is exacerbating layoffs.

Artificial lift division in Casper closed yesterday

When I left yesterday at noon, there were 25-30 pickup trucks that had been used by us. They were bringing in more as I left... This is not related to Oil prices, it's purely driven by us buying Baker who has a fairly strong Artificial Lift arm

Bakersfield Layoffs

Bakersfield hit Monday and Tuesday, PE, CMT, logging, maintenance, BD, Engineering and bulk plant. More to come tomorrow. Around 30 let go so far.

Oak Park and North Belt Departure

The buses left Oak Park and North Belt carrying all the important people to San Antonio. Some are execs on the BH integration team. Not sure why they're going. In the past I have seen them call people back from the academy and lay them off.

Severance

Do you know what kind of severance pay do we get right now. I am confused about the cap (e.g., does severance has some kind of maximum value that cannot be exceeded). I am a Warehouseman in Houston, 8 years with HAL. Please let me know.
