Do you know what kind of severance pay do we get right now. I am confused about the cap (e.g., does severance has some kind of maximum value that cannot be exceeded). I am a Warehouseman in Houston, 8 years with HAL. Please let me know.

Do you know anything about Frac (Production Enhancement)? We have over 1000 of us in our camp, all working 110+ hrs/week, 2 weeks on, 1 week off. Yeah, it sucks, and there is zero free time when you're on a hitch. But all the overtime hours make the pay reasonably good. Otherwise, we're getting paid 13-16/hour, depending on your level... which is an insultingly low amount of money at 40 hrs.
So yeah, for us, it is a question of how many hours as well as how many weeks of severance.
I think the question here is the Severance, not number of hours per week
110hr is physically impossible. You may be able to do a week or two like this but anything more than that is simply physically impossible, do the math.
110hr/week, 16 hours a day, every day for seven days. Assuming a bit of commute and minimal time for eating/restroom, you are dead already
How many hours is a week of pay though? I work over 110/week, and if it's a 40 hour check, I'd get more in my state with unemployment. So how do they determine how many hours to pay you?
Thank you Anonymous68550
I got 2 weeks + vacation paid out + 1 week for every year I'd been with the company (the paperwork said that it had a max of 13 weeks; I got 12).
