What a horrible, bad, bad place. Worst place to work ever.

Now Steve Pribyl. This place is a crazy.

As usual Follett is way behind the trend - if they were going to move jobs to India they should have done it years ago.

I feel sorry for those who will remain. It will be a blessing for most that get laid off from accounting. By the sounds of it the layoffs may happen in the future as they ship more off to India.

It truly is an awful place to work. Management does not show respect to the people who get the job done.

Rick was definitely a fair person but some of the managers under him are not. That place is awful.

I've heard sales are down 50 million to last year. Guess no one is buying IncluEd or their overpriced merchandise that never goes on sale. No surprise there!

and for the March 2013 layoffs they gave you a week for each year you had worked there in severance plus vacation days. Though it sounds dumb at the time, DO take advantage of outplacement services. They really helped me put a good resume together

and someone tell Mary Lee she isn't Melissa Mayer from Yahoo, because she's not. The only good idea she seems to have had is to get everyone under one roof in the new building in March of 2014

I think 1 week per year is our policy, not sure if this can be adjusted on an individual basis. No meetings moved this week. I am in Finance.
