Stressed employees across the board

Today I am updating my resume, I am searching for jobs, seeing what is out there. This is horrible. I have not been laid off, but I can't walk in to work every day and breath a sigh of relief if my regional manager isn't there unexpectedly? I hate... — read more

Time to review- This is what they said last time.

http://www.mhpbooks.com/how-to-lay-off-600-booksellers-with-a-delicious-dollop-of-horseshit/ Millions invested making Follett both more efficient and more customer facing was going to result in happier customer spending more. OOPS! POS didn't even... — read more

Can any Follett employees access the organizational chart on myHR? I wanted to see who were laid off. I'm not sure if it's my computer or if it has been blocked..

Nice benefit if you can get it.

Strange that Follett IT still has the option to telecommute. Don't desperate times call for all hands on deck?

Slippery GVP and RM

I swear - some of these jokers must know where the bodies are buried. I do not understand how a certain GVP and a certain RM make it through these layoffs - years worth of layoffs - not just this one...slippery dudes.

You know what is really scary?

Follett is barely investing in the business, Capital investment is minimal and its lowest level ever. They are conserving cash so that dividends can be paid. This is basic stuff, you have to invest to compete. You should invest in your employees but... — read more

Our thoughts and prayers are with those that remain.

I see a few bitter posts by those that were let go, and I understand, and empathize. But it certainly isn't the norm. I've seen the days when this was a fine company with values, and leaders. I hope even now, that it can be again. There were once so... — read more

Top FHEG IT Person Out! Fixed Things Too Fast.

I work on eFollett for the business team. Erik fixed in 2 months what Sanjeev could not fix in 2 years. He is the only one in IT that took the problem seriously and got it fixed. For that Follett lets him go? Guess it did not make someone look good.

Believe it or not but heard from a VP that store layoffs are coming and will not be pretty. Be prepared for another repeat of that black November day.

Hey Follett, Illinois wants it tax credit back. Follett values in action. Money for nothing: Illinois' EDGE jobs program often doesn't work
