Has anyone heard of any nurses being laid off?

I keep seeing pay period ended today for salaried folks and that’s why layoffs are today. So does that mean hourly folks are up next week? Thoughts?

Seems like most of the confirmed layoffs have been from Aetna, retail pharmacy, AB&C etc.

Lost a LOT of digital folks (design, copy, A11y, POs, PMs, scrum masters, engineers, etc.) and it's only Monday. When will (this round) end?!

Why can't they find out and remove those who are working for multiple companies. There are many contractors who are moonlighting in the current market from 3-4 years.

The entire disease management department was laid off. The department has been shut down.

If you go to “myHR”, then “Pay & Time”, then “View Your Pay” on the CVS employee intranet, you can see your pay posted for 8/15/23 already. I assume it would appear as normal and anything layoff-related would appear separately?
