Being laid off was the best thing ever. I found a new job right away. There are companies out there that value their employees, Cameron is just not one of them.

Layoffs are happening at this time at the Onesubsea building. 3 people in my group were let go, heard other groups are also letting people go.

About half the machine shop got let go. Other areas as well. I started there in 1991. Moving most of the work to Mexico, Romania and Singapore. Fun Fun!

Contractor layoffs to start on Monday... Office and shop personnel on Tuesday... Anyone have any more details? We've heard 35+ year employees to be offered a package, but so far that one's just a rumor.

Anyone has any idea if Project Management are still relevant after SLB? They basically are under operations.don't do sales,don't do engineering work - how are they relevant?
