Sorry to hear about the prem techs. Anyone here in California? Have any of you heard anything about layoffs taking place here? So far I’ve just been hearing about the Midwest today

Round 1 has begun..premise tech managers were notified they are out of a job. Round 2 March-April after more techs are surplus. If you are 1st level management start looking elsewhere now, because it’s coming.

I am getting offers for contract position with AT&T and laid off recently from AT&T. Do I have to wait for 6 months?

Conference call this morning to inform all Managers about the surplus happening February. I guess is the first round of many more to come. 2020 is not looking like a possibility.
