ATT Sales

Things are getting tough for everyone. But those of us that work on the phones in billing and sales are having it rough. It is getting harder and harder to meet those company call metrics. We are only allowed 15 seconds for ACW? We are required to... — read more

AT&T is here, and here to stay.

New Culture Survey . . .

I heard from an HR source that a culture survey would be released soon as a follow up to Stankey's townhall when he mentioned he was disappointed in the progress of his culture change. Has anyone else heard anything? This is different than than... — read more

Will Rogers once said :

Why would you pay AT&T for TV when you can stream more than you can watch for free .

HELPLINE TO CALIFORNIA LANDLINE CUSTOMERS

I retired from AT&T 20 years ago but did you know ........... even with my employee discount I got a better deal with T -mobile for cell service ,no joke I'm not kidding.

Call Center

Cuts are coming. Anything not in footprint will be shut down by 2025. Many of us are excited.

For the past 15 years I moved my 401K match over to

The Index 500 and TMobile Stock once they started getting some mojo with Legere. Anyone who invests in this toxic debt/culture filled company gets what they deserve. Why on earth would anyone move themselves on their own dime for this zombie company? — read more

Lawsuit on time to move

How much time are people given to move once they have official communication? Is it 6 months? Since people are having to move on their own dime , can't a lawsuit be filed. 6 months seems unrealistic expectation without assistance.

Use the cloud they say, but don't use it so much! WTF

WTF is up with leadership all this cloud BS by signing all these cloud vendor agreements, and then scolding us when we use it because the meter is running and we need to keep a lid on costs.. WTF, you're AT&T use you're fckn leverage and stop... — read more

This cybersecurity “thing”

Not sure what to call this.. a sale, a spin off, a joint venture? Maybe more like a circus. Most days they keep talking about “the buyer” and pretending AT&T isn’t a significant owner in this new “thing.” Amnesia? Why is AT&T so intent on washing... — read more

Reorgs coming, again :-(

Get ready AFO, you are next on the list. Usually means consolidation and layoffs, increased work, same pay for those that survive.

Commercial Real Estate & RTO

RTO is part of a larger issue with commercial real estate. Stankey and his cohort stand to lose if commercial real estate falters. That's what they care about, not loyal workers who built their lives around remote work but are suddenly told they... — read more

They moved their HQ to Dallas last year and are being pursued by AT&T, t- Mobile and Verizon. Here we go again!

You better think twice

No RTO reports since Workday

Lmfao! That is exactly what I expect from ATT. Automate it, then it breaks, then it never gets fixed. You can’t make this sh-t up!

Put the blame where it belongs

In 2010 ATT, was still growing and then “we” decided to buy TMobile which failed and created a new competitor since we had to pay then nearly $3billion breakup fee. We then purchased DTV and Time Warner Media for almost. $150 billion (including... — read more

Algorithm for Layoffs

Trying to figure out why the people who get laid off are selected. My guess is pay>hub proximity>age>if you’re a white male. Am I close? lol

Jeremy Legg’s Wave 2 impacted workers:

153 people in Wave 1 made the decision to follow the work. 108 people (about 70%) have not moved or plan to move, with the exception of perhaps the occasional commute. Legg's leadership has repeatedly stated that they have no interest in reviewing... — read more

Culture

When they say culture needs to change… what they are really saying out with the people that built this place and in with the new youngsters, DEI hires, and liberals. They are more interested in social engineering than running a solid business.
