Leadership please read

So to the corporate leadership of AT&T… I think the overwhelming majority of employees don’t have any issue with RTO. For those whose jobs really dictate they be in office and working collaborating with others five days also no issues but of course... — read more

Public Sector Town Hall today

Where do you stand on automation?

Is it a way to do more and there’s plenty of work to go around, it’s the future so get on board or get run over, or do you fight it at every turn knowing the end result means you are no longer required?

Riddle me this:

I like the game of chess but I'm not very good at it because I cannot think 4, 5, or 6 moves ahead in anything. Is it possible, remotely possible, for the architects of the combination of RTO and HUB designations to have forseen the majority of... — read more

If we change to 5 days a week in office, do the virtual workers have to go to office more than the 1 day month originally assigned?

I hate my job

I hate this company and everything about it. I hate being stuck here due to a cr-ppy job market. The only thing I like is that there are always layoffs so there's always a chance that I'll be able to walk away with severance. That's it. That's the... — read more

What’s wrong with the culture?

Stankey and others keep saying it’s lack of young talent. Do you think the current actions of the company are attracting young talent or running it away? Do you think young people are being retained by recent actions? I graduated TDP 2 years ago and... — read more

The VP Report

Does anyone know what the report had that John S got? For instance, does anyone know the results like what percentage of employees worked under 4 hours in office?

Thanks Coffee Badgers

I hope the coffee badgers and the 10-2 people are happy- they've managed to get us all moved back to 8 hour office 5 days. I am very bitter that instead of managing the people that took advantage all of us are being punished. On my three days, i am... — read more

Hidden benefit of 5 days in office.

All of the people in my org who were working to automate our jobs are being affected. These people were the special 10% given permission to work from home because they weren’t near a hub like the rest of us. Now they don’t want to report 5 days a... — read more

RTO 1/1/25 and 8 hours in office

Regarding this comment in other thread. “ They have implemented new software to track connected hours, hours connected in the office vs hours connected outside the office, etc.” Does anyone know what they are using to track this? Is this what all... — read more

Relocating to a Hub

I've been at a designated hub location for almost 7 years and was not directly impacted. I know I would leave if told to relocate even if my relocation expense was covered by the company. There would still be too much uncertainty. Are there a... — read more

More rumors about downsizing to 60 000 or less

If this is true, then it’s definitely time to look for other opportunities. I mean, if you haven’t started already. Not that the target number is shocking or anything. It’s all about dividends and bonuses for as long as there’s party. What will... — read more

FTO vs. NFTO

Anyone know what the difference is between an NFTO and FTO indicator? I've only seen this on moose calendars but I just know mine has changed. Curious if there is a list of what all the indicators mean somewhere.

The angst is unnecessary

I've been doing 5 days in the office for about 10 months. These 5 days were not mandated, and I do take advantage of WFH when I need to. I wasn't thrilled with returning, but for me it wasn't a huge deal. I live roughly 5 minutes away from my office... — read more

I'm more worried about layoffs

Do I want to RTO? He-l no. But between that and being laid off, sadly, I'd take RTO. I am happy for those of you who can afford to lose your job over this. I'm glad you have an option of not complying and risking it all. I don't have that option. So... — read more
