I understand that Broadcom cuts benefits, but what about pay?

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience as to what was done with the channel or partner teams at Symantec or CA after they were acquired?

Whats the UK atmosphere like at Broadcom? How many staff? What are the Offices likes? Is the UK an Office or WFH culture? Do you have any say or dictated too by the US? Mainly Government or Private sector customers in the UK?

I am stressed out but not angry or upset. It'll work out no matter what. I dislike uncertainty and I just hope things settle down quickly.

What happens when Broadcom has a product and the company it’s acquiring has a product. Does the company it acquire lose out?

Anyone knows what will happen to new grad Propel Candidates? When the deal finalises we will have like 2-3 months of experience in a team. Will we be let go as well immediately?

Did Hock and/or Tom have an all-hands with the Symantec and CA folks when their acquisitions were announced? Did they keep their promises?

I don’t see anything positive in this Broadcom acquisition for now. To me it's the worst news ever! Perhaps someone is more optimistic that all this won't be gloom and doom for the company?

So if you have been at VMware for less than 1 year I guess you have no grounds for severance right? What about RSUs that would vest over 4 years.....can you still be entitled to them? Otherwise no point sticking about ...
