approx 700 layoffs today at the online campus in phx - academics, finance, enrollment - all regions - including corporate. yes, sev pckgs with free cobra for a time, employment placement assistance and letter of recommendation if needed.

I also heard today there wasnt going to be anymore layoffs besides the ones today. All the emails were supposed to be sent out today. If you didnt get on, consider yourself lucky and tomorrow work harder then you worked today.

I can confirm that the layoffs in my department did all have poor reviews and that this was only the first round... I can also confirm that the last word we heard from Joe Damico was that they were not going to do immediate layoffs...
