Thread regarding University of Phoenix layoffs

Maybe they do another layoff who knows. Im sure everyone is assuming what they want. I was told there would not be any but who knows. I didn't know managers were layoff I only heard of ec's. Why do they spend so much in team or division parties raise compensation for ec's but then lay off 700??? Makes no sense, there has to be more to the reasoning or they wouldn't blow money elsewhere. Right???
