A lot of Engineering ARASA supervisors are getting a free promotion to a Manager 2 out of the reorganization. So they laid off engineering managers while they simultaneously offered manager positions to ARASA's no question asked.

They've let go 10 people in LOUP so far and several in HR. Apparently CC&S will not be part of the Operating team, as well.

There are suppose to be an estimated 500 layoffs for Management employees today. HR has lost nearly 10 confirmed, LOUP has lost about 15, M&S 10 or so I’ve heard.

Unless you see a press release to the world nothing will take place this is a publicly traded company and their only worry is the stock price

The worst part is the fact they are leaving people in the dark. This is causing unnecessary stress and anxiety. Job performance today will be low.

Folks remember this we were all looking for jobs when we found this one. I’m a manager and I got seniority, please cut my job so I can show you what a real railroad screwing feels like.

Having lunch with a few of my fellow department coworkers as sort of a last supper, and happened upon 5 Douglas County Sheriffs in the lobby, in full gear... vests, sidearms, etc...
