Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Outsourcing, contractors and only the irreplaceable workers as full timers.

That seems to be the Verizon leadership philosophy regarding the structure of the company in the near future. Think we need to get ready for that situation and make a decision whether to go or to stay and deal with that state of affairs.

No such thing as an irreplaceable worker. Sorry, but truth. Not saying it wouldn't be painful to lose certain people, but everyone, including the CEO is replaceable.
