That seems to be the Verizon leadership philosophy regarding the structure of the company in the near future. Think we need to get ready for that situation and make a decision whether to go or to stay and deal with that state of affairs.

If you have the knowledge, you have the power. If you don’t, then you don’t.
The most replaceable are IT leaders, if you can’t speak how can you lead.
If any worker is irreplaceable, you're doing management wrong.
When you willingly trade your life for money you get all you're owed in that exchange.
No such thing as an irreplaceable worker. Sorry, but truth. Not saying it wouldn't be painful to lose certain people, but everyone, including the CEO is replaceable.
Shouldnt the company be filled with 'irreplaceable workers'? If not, maybe they are doing it wrong....
