Here is the truth. And I think we can all agree. DTV was a very profitable business when ATT bought them out. And they have and always have had very good customer service. Then ATT bought them and all we heard was how it was such a bad buy, DTV people are lazy and so on.
I will get to the point. ATT bought a very good company in DTV. But they only bought it for the content and focused so much on only the content and their belief that now in 2019 we would all have a magical box sitting by our tv, has totally destroyed everything else about DTV.
Yes, satellites are a dying business across the board. But they will be out there for many years. Maybe not a large capacity. But can still be profitable. People dropping DTV is only because of the astronomical cost of satellite TV. $100 plus for satellite VS $20 + streaming solutions no matter how limited the channels are is what everyone wants.
So I would ask that you look back on the history here instead of being nasty . It is a fact that Leadership overlooked and made very bad decisions and now they are In a boat that will sink because of that.
People that work at T and DTV offices are all very nice who just want to make a living and are always in fear of loosing their jobs.
