Before you decide, look at the past. This is not the first at&t layoff, won’t be the last. There is plenty of past cases to look at, and plenty of heartache to see. Get legal advice before you do anything... Seeing what was going on I left, voluntarly, last July. I do not think I could go through the process again, and again. The 2018 interest rate was good, the 2019 rate (decided in Nov. 2018) is not as good but if you decide to take a package you DO sign away your options to take any legal action in the future. Think, research, and then decide.
Problems at work are not a party, it is a nightmare no one needs.
If you plan to file lawsuit do not sign waiver, you will not get severance. Per my attorney if you sign you give up rights. How much will you get after Attorney takes fees. I signed.
If you can get me an attorney I can find people to sing like birds!!! Me too movement, age discrimination, hostile work environment, unequal pay...the list goes on!!!
