Verizon has no clue right now. I was laid off last year and one of the online employment places claimed they had a match for me. It was one of the Verizon, entry-level, work-from-home, customer service jobs. I have thirty-five years experience, including remote trouble shooting for the last ten years as a senior tech. So I applied and about three weeks later I got an automated email reply, something like, I didn't have the matching skill set for this position. A week later I got sent another automated message from Verizon, informing me about a position that matched my skill set. Yeah, you guessed it, it was the same job. I suppose I could have applied again and gone into an endless loop, but I have more important things in my life now, like yelling at the dogs to stop barking.
