They would not say how many took package or number of affected employees on call. WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY VOLUNTEERS THIS ROUND DUE TO MVO RECENTLY OFFERED. Leadership will rank individuals based on skills, performance, leadership, experience, last years performance rating etc. Seniority is not taken into account. 60 day off payroll Oct. 19th, 30 day OPT out off payroll September 10th.

Regarding - "last years performance rating etc" - how many last years of performance appraisals are being considered? Last one year only, i.e. - 2017 only? or last 3 years, i.e. 2017, 2016 and 2015?

Ran is radio access network.

Recent reorganization moved operations under them.

Retired people not being back filled just returning and making fewer do more with less.

I scheduled all vacation before surplus notice. I took the voluntary package offer. I had already taken my earned vacation so I was not entitled to any more. However, as an employee, I was allowed to take all scheduled vacation prior to my exit day and needed to remove any vacation after that date. I received six days more than earned. There was no reduction in pay. This was a scare tactic. If I needed to take an unscheduled day off, I would have had a pay reduction.

If I used less than earned, I would have been paid for the extra days. The rules may have changed since January and HR will not explain. If you have unused PTO, you decide if the extra cash or time off is most important.
