Most of the millennials I worked with at AT&T lacked basic communications and people skills. One of the 20-somethings I worked with who was hired to handle social media couldn't compose a 140-character tweet on his own, so the company hired an agency to do it for him. Then he insulted the agency and AT&T corporate communications so badly that both groups refused to work with him. Yet it took nearly two years for AT&T to get rid of him. I saw other millennials openly go against management's requests, then tell their supervisors they'd complain to HR if they were called out. They'd roll in at 10 and leave by 4. Deadlines were targets, and if they missed one, oh well. If AT&T is trying to build a staff of millennials, everyone over 35 should leave now and let them have the company. It won't last more than a year.
