Wells Fargo has always been a great company for me to work at personally. Much better than some other prior companies that I have worked for. I have never personally encountered a dishonest or untrustworthy co-worker at Wells Fargo, that I cannot say the same about for other prior companies that I have worked for.
For the remaining employees, not laid off, rather than "give up" they will have to step up to the task at hand if they wish to remain as employees of Wells Fargo. Where they have a great 401K plan, lot's of paid vacation time, great medical benefits, etc. The "grass is not always greener", so if you are a lucky surviving internal employee than it would be in your best interests to continue to work hard and try to help make the company successful again. You can stay "until the end" and take any severance package or just "bail out" and leave for a possibly lesser job opportunity. Now if you find a BETTER job than "you are good to GO!". Just my personal opinion, I am sure not all agree.
