You have but two choices - Stay and take your chances or go find another job. I moved on to greener pastures. I make more money and have a whole lot less stressful job. My coworkers don't lie, cheat and steal to prop their numbers up and the company I work for would never reward employees for that type of illicit behavior. My advice would be to move on, especially if you are an ethical person. AT&T does not, nor has it ever cared about you or your customers. And I don't know if all of our current IHX people realize it or not, but several years ago T created National Account Executives and Retail Account Executives positions... Hundreds of them. Guess where many of your cars came from? All those RSC's, ASM's and Managers who lost their jobs. And it came out of the blue. So, if you think for one second your position as in IHX is safe... You are a fool. Good luck to you. It's a really good job market.

Yawn. Move on. Get on with your lives and stop hating on something you don't even know about, because clearly those of you hating on IHX don't know half of what goes on. So, keep on with your miserable lives while the rest of us are happy. Bye!

I am not a fan of IHX either been an RSC for a number of years. But it seems like some of you are jealous of IHX? The union is just as corrupt at the company and instead of hating on our fellow sales people, we should probably focus on the decision makers that make ATT heartless.

Ihx have it easy with special deals and free phones. At&t is not going to get rid of them (yet) because they obviously are propping them up with these outrageous offers so that they can hurt the union retail stores. But in a year or two they will all be goners!

They are called “joke trolls” and there are many kinds. They get their kicks from taking over an OP and the replies, by engineering a reply with intentional bad grammar, harsh accusations, sometimes over the top language and rumors...all with the explicit intent to draw attention to their statements, which means getting an ego boost, ‘hey, look what I did.’

The adage, “ignore them and they will go away,” does hold true. They come in, light the fire then step back and watch to see what happens. One person may respond to a stupid statement, but Trolls hate it when no one else piles on.

Idk, the poor grammar adds to my enjoyment of these threads, it's good for a laugh and I think (hope) it's intentional.

Our stores gets along with IHX but they are kind of lazy. Most of them are ex assistant managers who couldn’t cut it in retail and now just sit in their cars and get easy sales since they have special deals they can give. Cushy jobs but they won’t last.

I chuckle every time one of them comes into one of my stores. What a sorry excuse for employees. This IHX group is a good place to dump my bad RSCs where they can wither away until they disappear.

Ihx reps are the bottom of the barrel att has and are one sleezy month away from just giving up on it all i mean how can you be as disgustingly immoral and unethical as ihx saying people get free phones and then ignore there calls after there bill shows them being charges forcing them into the stores just to pile more work on us meanwhile you steall all our phones and go slam more customers wiTh things they don’t need with lies and trash that isn’t true then 3 months later when there phone is broke they come into the store for warranty because you claim you dont do that all you are is a bunch of scabs att is using to try to brake the union but cwa is suing to stop you thank good ness!!!!

Dang. I'm starting to think the guy (I am just assuming the gender) has point about the quality of grammar here. I mean, I enjoy a good IHx slamming post as much as the next guy, but it's kind of hard to feel a morbid sense of satisfaction when the retorts have the feeling of someone speaking with marbles in their mouth. Step it up boys and girls.

"People saying IHX is a sucess are delusionnal. They push sales on people who don’t want or need it and then customers are mad they were promised free phones that never happen and come to us in the store to get it fixed! It is all a bunch of scamers and really loose at&t alot of money but they just use them now to try to brake up the union"

Get your facts straight. IHX has nothing to do with the union, believe it or not the Union is not the center of the world. IHX is a desperate play by ATT to capitalize on DTV customers 67% of which do NOT have ATT mobile service. ATT is struggling to get voice gross ads and 3 of the 4 quarters they were last place among the big 4 in voice GAs and in many of the quarters they actually lost more voice customers than they signed, which is hidden by tablets, IOT devices, etc.

IHX is profitable because there is no overhead, except for the people. A few GAs pays for the program and it makes profitable as a results.

Now one thing you are right about, probably by accident because it's obvious you have no clue, some IHX folks are delusional. Many think this channel will be active for years to come and it's the future. That is not case. Cord cutter are increasing at an aggressive rate every quarter and IHX has a timeline on when it is no longer profitable, somewhere around 2020-2022.

As for getting rid of IHX completely? That is no accurate either, there is probably going to be a surplus next year if enough people don't attrite nd from what's left will be folded under the retail directors. So if you are DOS or Director of In Home, you may see another surplus coming next year.

My friend (elderly) was getting DTV installed, one of these in home sales people showed up, I guess this is the IHX positions. He was so full of sh--. I was there to make sure the DTV contractor wasn’t doing a c-ap job. However, the contractor was awesome. I kicked the IHX guy out.

IHX is aggressively expanding right now as they are currently not getting to about 4 out of 5 potential dispatches nationally as is but on the 20% they are getting to are netting AT&T nearly 10% of its overall sales and as many postpaid port ins (or more) as all of retail is doing in many markets. By scaling up even more, IHX can bring even more results to the table. It is a phenomenal success!

Also as has been mentioned here, IHX will be expanding to same day online phone delivery and setup and also installs for our upcoming new product launch of full service premium OTT Directv (for homes without AT&T mobility service - prem techs and partner installers will install it for homes already with AT&T mobility.)

And there are many other projects down the road which IHX is going to be relied on. IHX will be evolving over the next two years to handle even more than cross selling products during TV and internet installs and service calls.

The channel’s success in wireless growth has impressed the entire senior leadership team enormously. There absolutely will be no layoffs and in fact it is hiring another 1000 experts nationally as we speak and will probably double in size again next year.
