Well I guess so. Maybe AT&T can distribute and deliver though existing channels (IHX) new phones cheaper than UPS or FedEx can. I know this for a fact. AT&T has cut the media delivery force dramatically and outsourced that work to the point that FedEX tries to deliver a 30 thousand dollar IPAG card to a location that is not manned. Some director is bobbing their head up and down in agreement with the superiors about the money that as been saved with this "hard" decision to save money to outsource deliveries to a company who can't even get in the phucking building. Leave it on the porch......
Haha, not a chance. The company loves IHX...for the time being. Give it two years and you could be right.
Actually there talking about closing 100+ retail stores first quarter 2019. IHX will be doing same day phone delivery and in home setup. They are also going to trial IHX up selling roku like sticks and streaming apps.
My question is this: Why is it in 2018 a customer cannot go to the AT&T website, order a phone and order a service plan (yes I know that is an outdated concept) and have said phone delivered? The customer then could log on to an AT&T portal and activate the phone.
I can log on to online banking and move a bunch of money around but I can't log on to get a cell phone delivered to my house without a door to door salesperson.
IHX is aggressively hiring. Did you see the video released about same day delivery of phones and set up in customers homes? They’re not going anywhere.
very cool!
😂😂😂....sure
With all of the IHX hate on this site, do you really think we will believe this?
