T, saddled with a declining landline business is an income stock, rather than a growth stock. With a 6% return on the dividend, which have preferential tax treatment, this stock is a fit in certain portfolios.
The big risk to T is rising interest rates. The Fed is supposed to raise their rates about 1% in the next year to around 3%.
T might have an upside to this 5G stuff. The downside is a failure to jettison the landline telephony. That is an expensive, labor intensive cancer on their businesses.

Easy to work with other peoples money's without any kind of projections, T is like a pinball- loser stock!
SeekingAlpha, said not feel comfortable putting money at risk under the current state of affairs. If I was asked if I would recommend buying AT&T right now, I would say no. I have a sell rating on the stock. AT&T always has been considered a widows and orphans stock. The sad fact is this is no longer the case, yet many widows and orphans still make up the vast majority of the investor base. I have a large portion of my portfolio dedicated to AT&T. It used to help me sleep well at night. Now I sleep much better knowing I don't.
Spoken like a person that bought this stock very low and is promoting a rush to buy CGC in order to bail. Could this stock be a bonanza, sure. But wouldn’t you rather hear that from your CFP?
One year ago CGC stock was at approx. $7.00, today about $41, almost a 500% increase to this point already.
