Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Scabs

I really hope all our cwa brothers stand behind us and for those who do not, let's plan to sue the cwa if they don't sue the scabs for the wages they made while we were on strike. Happy friday

Going on strike is not a vacation and saying so undercuts the effort to get a better contract.

It is only people at our level who care about the customers, where are the complaints when Randy and his gang are screwing our customers?

What a selfish and narrow minded way to think .... think of the others that are coming to the stores to help cover to service OUR customers IF you are still working at AT&T. Positions that people are working and squeezing in the closing and extra hours and working the weekend because the UNION retail associates want a 3 day weekend. At least be kind and gracious to otherss and what is the nonsense about the appearance? Grow up or get out and get a job, stop complaining.

This is insane! How can you sue for wages when you CHOSE not go to work?

Let me understand your idiotic mentality and lack of understanding of civil and corporate law. 1-The union has an agreement, which includes a requirement to notify the other party within 72 hours of potential strike (which was met)2- union members actively choose to participate and support the union by PAYING monthly fees, 3- Employees have a CHOICE to keep following the nonsense OR go to work to earn their wages. 4-Union strikes, you don't EARN wages. Therefore now you want to sue the union, so the union sues for the wages people chose not to earn?

In which planet do you think you deserve wages for labor you CHOSE to not perform because YOU chose to follow the strike guidelines. It's a risk versus reward decision you decided to make.

I guess commen sense is not always common

Its hilarious to me how stupid rsm, asm and arsm on here are talking sh-- in the strike. You think you are going to have a job when everything goes AR? You think they will keep you around? Lol, theyve been dumping VPs and DOS. Randy has a plan and its a very small corporate structure with a ton of outsourcing. You think theyre going to keep you at 60k when AR manager will do it for 45k? Think they keep ARSMs making 85-100k when AR ARSM will do it for 60? Writing is on the wall. You a--holes are all out of a job in 2020. Almost every rep in my store in college except the dopey managers. These losers get like 8k a year now and they dont do anything with it. Lololol.. i almost hope the strike fails and they do continue purging COR just to watch rsm, asm and arsm cry when they get the severance.

It is just a small battle in the war for a decent living and job security, not a magic solution.

So about 15% of the employee base is going to take an unpaid weekend and this is a union victory? I don't understand.

Haha your brothers and sisters would screw you over so fast to better themselves. You can't organize a real strike and you expect people are going to sue the union lulz. The best part though is ya'll b--ching about T and in the end you can't find a better job out there. Reality check kidz.... you're getting screwed by both parties. Your unqualified to make the money your are making in any other field except retail sales and that is going away. You most likely are a pretty bad sales rep that won't make it in anything except wireless sales. Just saying....
