I am so tired of AT&T claims that there is some shortage of workers. This statement really gets me upset: AT&T CEO said that the lack of tech professionals who have the skills they need to compete in today’s increasingly technology-driven global markets is a US challenge, i guess They can’t find computer systems analysts, programmers and software applications engineers, especially with advanced degrees, to do what AT&T does which is non of the above
I received my B.S. in Computer Science in August 2001. Furthermore I HAVE an advanced degree: I received my M.S. in Computer Science in May 2006. At that time, I was 50. . I only want an entry-level programming job….just don’t make my primary job be to lug-around cases of paper, spreadsheets, and hosting pointless calls with people that do not understand technology,
After 18 years with the company, I was turned down for all the positions I did apply for, so I left AT&T and now work with a Global Technology company, after all it is up to you to value yourself
