You need to really grow up and look at yourself. You sound like an idiot thinking anyone owes you something including your parents. Do you really think it's the fault of anyone out of diapers.

The company is dumping everything except wireless and will once that's done work to use contractors for the work. Wake up and think about the cost associated for employees vs. contractors. No vacations, no 401k, no medical.

I agree with vcl, it's by design. My senior leader verbally said blame the lifers for the surplus. It's again part f this suck twisted att divide and conquer culture. Playing people against each other. Att really could have been a model for retooling and pivoting. But there's nothing left. Randy failed at T-Mobile. He failed at uverse. He's about to fail at dtv. He can't figure out how to really monetize mobile.

I'm a millennial and the baby boomers make me sick. They're soooo entitled and love to put us down every chance they get. Meanwhile, they had affordable college tuition and help from parents and/or the military. I put myself through college because my baby boomer parents were too self absorbed to help. I also don't expect any company to show me any loyalty for my hard work beyond the next paycheck. I'm sorry baby boomers are getting laid off because losing a job is tough for anyone. But stop with all this millennial bashing and ageism nonsense. As Bruce Willis said in Die Hard, "Welcome to the party, pal."

As someone who has personally witnessed just how disrespectful the baby boomer generation has treated the greatest generation, I am laughing whole heartedly how quickly the "anti-establishment" generation is now seeking some sort of reprieve from the new anti-establishment generation they themselves have helped create. I am a millenial and I am appalled by the lack of respect fellow millenials have toward older people/workers. Those old timers worked hard to build the company. You will be "an old timer" one day. Show some respect. And you might just learn a thing or two from those old timers in the process.
