What are you "not good enough" members smoking? What do you really think you're going to get? A majority of us don't want to be a part of a "movement"... burger flippers are NOT worth $15 an hour, college should not be free, nor should healthcare.
A company should not have to keep a call center open because it is too far for a few people to drive. Drive or take the EISP and leave.
Moving techs 50 miles, move me and I will have to make the decision if it is worth my time to drive. Looking at what our skill set actually pays, I'll probably make the drive.
The Union leadership knows all this, and that's why they won't allow the members to vote on this offer. It would be ratified with no problem. However if that happened, their time to be a part of a political movement will come to an uneventful halt. However, given the moral, they may be the ones that go down in history for destroying the Verizon union.
