Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Will Verizon offer another enhanced buyout like the one back in 2010 in order to get employees off the books?

I heard a rumor last year that Verizon did want to offer a buyout but the union put a stop to it! Now instead veriZon has resorted to other tactics like harassment and suspending people in order to make it utterly miserable that people just quit. Wonder if the enhanced buyout will ever be an option with a lump sum of 50 grand and $2200 per year??

As a former Management that was RIF due to the BS of reduction of jobs, and at the top 2% they keep getting richer, while the hell with the rest that keep Verizon going like 1st level management.

Those are the ones really working the pavement and customer’s, however they are the first to be let go, especially if you are 20 year’s + experience.

The funny thing is Verizon’s administration is very underhanded, as to going out to the street to hire the same position at 60% deduction of pay and benefits like you see in careers web sites, now you figure out the upper management and HR logic letting go the experience workers, that give the 40 hours, and work 80 hour a day to keep the company moving in the their direction [ :-(
