This is what AT&T leadership doesn't want to acknowledge. No one I know thought RTO was necessary, a productivity improvement, or anything other than a veiled force reduction.
For me, the monetary and emotional costs of selling a house, moving children in grade and high school and elders dependent on having us nearby, all of it was higher than a good raise with a Connection Award could cover, even with the better relo package. (I have more than one, and that should tell you I'm not a slacker).
I wasn't offered relo, so that made the decision easy. Just like Stankey wanted it.
Glad to see from press reports and this forum I'm not the only one seeing it. One has to wonder where the shareholders are, and why the CEO has not been replaced.
