The quality of the new hires at AT&T is beyond belief! They make not just small but serious mistakes every single day, and to top it off, they don't seem to know a thing about what they're doing. How could any company in its right mind let this happen? Don't they realize the damage that these employees are causing both to our reputation and our bottom line?

You mean those same Gen Zers that have computer science degrees but I have to teach them basic excel functions. I'm not remotely concerned of them taking my job.
Its actually slightly terrifying they're college graduates. Apparently the baseline has been lowered.
The Gen-Z’ers have questionable grooming habits and often give off a sour, cabbage-like aroma. Strongly recommend packing the Blue Star Ointment if forced sit near one.
Ge-z, wouldn’t it be fabulous if AT&T could get the Bud Light girl’s picture on branded smart phones!

Trust me, Gen Z's "work ethic" isn't stealing sh-t.
I know right, the cluelessness is astounding. There is one seemingly recent college grad, the most USELESS employee with the made up excuses as to why their projects are getting done, to showing up late to meetings, to just not doing the required work....its mind boggling.
They undervalued long seasoned employees. New employees just don’t have the experience to properly do the job and they no longer have managment that know anything. It’s a lose….lose situation. Pass out the life jackets now…we’re going down!
That's what you get when hiring and promotion focuses on diversity instead of meritocracy. Affirmative action is a failure!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Steve Jobs will always be my hero. He offered the Iphone to Verizon then at&t. Verizon took a hard pass, at&t went for it. AT&T thought they could turn the deal in their favor, Jobs stood his ground. It wasn't long before at&t executives realized Jobs was in total control. AT&T became Job's bi--h, simple as that. The AT&T executives had to feast on a fine diner of crow!
Lol, this is a tale as old as time. You too were that person at one point. However the MBA comment is spot on, I swear they lobotomize those people. Oh look another Steve Jobs management book. Lol. You ain’t Steve Jobs and he was a terrible people manager.
Old guy complaining about new hire.

OP - Are you in management or Craft?
Yes I work with many MBA's who think they are the latest and greatest. Full of ideas and pizazz but zero ability to get results that lead to bottom line running in the black.

Rather than posting on an external, anonymous complaint blog, use the opportunity to collaborate with some employees who could use some guidance and mentorship?
