Diego gone. Are we cleaning house?

Better late than never, but never late is better. Are we making the right choices?

Not sure how anyone has time for working and serving customers with all the pushes to volunteer, support ERGs and attend ridiculous woke events that have nothing to do with business.

@xek+1mDUJFWD: question, gender, same as Lady Liberty entering through Ellis Island?? No longer the land of opportunity and I am fine with that previous generational ideology, which was applicable for when the country experienced an Industrial Revolution.

Can you hear us now Diego?

Wash those feet, put some socks on, and take your crayons and underwear marketing elsewhere! You did absolutely nothing for Verizon sales except stunt them. Kind of like Hagar the Horrible.

Fortunately, the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) has been relieved of their position due to their failure to generate any return on investment (ROI). However, I eagerly anticipate decisive actions to be taken against Leaders within the GTS.

I will refrain from mentioning the explicit name here, but it will be evident to readers who I am referring to in the example from GTS for corruption and nepotism in the following paragraph

An individual (Leader) from Verizon India was permitted to relocate from India to the Verizon US office solely driven by personal motives, with the aim of providing educational opportunities for their family members and securing permanent residence immigration status  for them. Secondly, It is disheartening to witness that Leaders appointment as the Vice President of Data Engineering, despite their lack of relevant expertise in the field. This situation sheds light on the pervasive presence of corruption and nepotism, as this VP has exploited his position to manipulate the system and secure favorable placements within the Verizon us office. Such actions cannot be carried out without the support of higher-ranking VPs who were all involved in facilitating this arrangement.

Furthermore, similar abuses of power exist within the GTS organization, extending beyond the a fo-e-mentioned example.

I apologize for digressing from the primary topic, which revolves around Diego's departure and the opportunity to rectify the situation at Verizon. However, I believe it is important to address the necessary cleanup required in GTS, which has been neglected thus far.

I don’t understand how it took this long after that e3 talk and demo that looked like it was out of the 90s.

Yet another executive is reportedly leaving Verizon. Chief Marketing Officer Diego Scotti, who’s been with the company over eight years, is leaving to focus on “building a new chapter in his career” and will explore new challenges, according to published reports.

Verizon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Diego and his homies and girlies destroyed VZ's once iconic marketing for PC nonsense, childish artwork, and mis-sized and unworkable fonts. I am surprised the stock is not up!

Good riddance to bad trash. He totally (and blindly) believed in one thing and sunk all of it in that. Turns out it’s not true in consumers’ minds. Go back and peddle designer clothes

You can't hire from outside US when your market is primarily US. They don't have the same passion or knowledge or background in US telecom. Good riddance, Diego, Manon, Ronan, and soon Hans.

Is he picking the replacement? More likely the board doing so? This feels like a good place for John Legere to fit in to help shake some things up.

Perhaps there is truth in the sizable RIF rumor stated for May 24/25? Clearing the leaders first.

I’m fine with this move. Verizon’s marketing has felt pretty directionless for a while now and I’m ready for some fresh ideas. I don’t know anything about the folks shoring up the department while the next leader is found.

I'm glad Diego is out... should have been gone a while ago. Unfortunately with Hans still in charge and picking his replacement nothing real is likely to change.
