Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Miracle needed

Ok when will the board fire Clay for his incompetency?

When will Larry step back in and slap him around a bit?

Or will we just have a fire sale and be bought by the likes of Nvidia or OpenAi? We need some form of stock shocker ! May be a hostile take over.

We need something and not more orange builder jackets or layoffs

Clay Magouyrk, co-CEO of Oracle, is named as a defendant in a federal securities class action lawsuit alleging he and other executives misled investors about the financial impact of the company’s massive AI infrastructure spending. The complaint, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware, claims Oracle executives made false statements regarding revenue growth and capital expenditures during a class period from June 11, 2025, to December 16, 2025.

Key allegations include:

Misleading Statements: Executives allegedly assured investors that heavy capital spending on data centers would quickly translate into accelerating revenue and profits, while failing to disclose the true scale of spending, funding risks, and long-term obligations.
Insider Trading: The suit alleges that executives, including Magouyrk, sold more than 8.8 million shares for over $1.8 billion during the class period, capitalizing on inflated stock prices before negative disclosures.
Financial Impact: The lawsuit cites Oracle’s fiscal 2026 capital expenditure projection of $50 billion, negative free cash flow exceeding $10 billion, and a $10 billion financing withdrawal by backer Blue Owl as evidence of the risks that were allegedly concealed from investors.

Magouyrk is also associated with past legal controversies regarding workplace culture, including lawsuits filed by former vice presidents alleging a "culture of fear" and toxic behavior under his leadership of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure unit, though these specific civil suits targeted his management style rather than financial securities fraud.

Oh, and if you ever have seen him in an All Hands bet you thought 'Who the F is this clown? He thinks he is funny,,,'

Agree. Clay was in way over his head 5 years ago. Today, he's laughable as CEO and should be immediately removed. It's been one major f@&kup after another with no end it sight.

I think it's actually the other way around. Larry is slowly winding down and might be heading toward retirement, which is really why they went with two CEOs.
The Goal is to cut down all traditional/legacy divisions completely like FA, FMW with chopping heads at regular intervals.

Clay has no personal skills and makes everyone feel awkward. Not sure how he even got the job in the first place. Oracle has gotta get this guy out.

I agree. Clay needs to go - he was never the right guy to lead a company of this size. I know Larry is still in the background, so he shoulders some of the responsibility, but I am more concerned about the future. Larry's useful days are numbered.

Clay's frat boy persona just doesn't inspire confidence. And his abrasive authority style is off-putting. He think he's Steve Jobs and he's no where close.

Time to let some adults run the company.
