I think it's actually the other way around. Larry is slowly winding down and might be heading toward retirement, which is really why they went with two CEOs.
The Goal is to cut down all traditional/legacy divisions completely like FA, FMW with chopping heads at regular intervals.
All the adults left the building - now just a bunch of clowns in a political cesspool of protectionisim and self preservation.
Clay has no personal skills and makes everyone feel awkward. Not sure how he even got the job in the first place. Oracle has gotta get this guy out.
I agree. Clay needs to go - he was never the right guy to lead a company of this size. I know Larry is still in the background, so he shoulders some of the responsibility, but I am more concerned about the future. Larry's useful days are numbered.
Clay's frat boy persona just doesn't inspire confidence. And his abrasive authority style is off-putting. He think he's Steve Jobs and he's no where close.
Time to let some adults run the company.
