@bw To me, what's worse with all these years since Covid, in addition to how worse and worse employees are being treated, is the almost total lack of innovation.

In Europe there is Revolut, in few years they've added an infinity of services that make it really appealing to users. The bare minimum that PayPal should do is copy exactly what Revolut has done: Brokerage for shares, ETFs, etc. Exchange rates affordable in most of the world currencies, which makes it very handy for travelling, Junior accounts, joint accounts, an app that works very well and has access to everything you need, Savings and funds accounts giving you top interest rates daily, Instant Access Savings accounts with good interests rates, disposable cards, all cryptos, trainings, rewards, points, earn on brands/shopping and all that (I just mentioned a few!) even with paid plans... PayPal seems to be focused only on reducing costs and brutal layoffs, yet no innovation. They wonder why the share price keeps tanking?

@av not one insider will buy this company at all time lows. That tells you everything you need to know. It’s a trash company with trashier management.

I often wonder why Jamie Miller has not accelerated the stock buy backs. The company value is at all time lows and we’re not purchasing shares. We could have taken this company private and layoffs wouldn’t be a huge thing because we don’t have to appease the bank gods.

@a1 as an employee I’m not sure of the endgame here. I’ve seriously never worked at a company whose share price declined for 5 years straight. The last 3 years has been a steady decline and flat. I get stock comp in lieu of cash and it pi---s me off knowing it will vest for less. I think it’s the Board of Directors fault really. And these recent buyout rumors are hilarious because we all know this would never happen.

Is this company only capable of losing shareholder value?

Wow this company has been a complete train wreck since Covid. Can anything bring this back or just a company on its way out?

This company is king of announcing useless partnerships that translate to minimal revenue. I remember seeing Alex Chriss in an interview about partnering with colleges for Venmo debit cards. This announcement was barely worth a tweet or email let alone an interview. The company is slowly dying with compressed margins and losing customers. And the CEO is always hiding somewhere as the stock remains at all time for the last 4 years. This company is one of the biggest disasters on Wall Street and it’s just filled with lazy software engineers who complain here everyday if they will get laid off. Obviously they need to as the company is failing against competition. Fire faster!!!!
