Don't worry our great president Trump said he was introducing a new healthcare plan for all Americans, another broken promise, as he is too busy adding his name to the Kennedy Center, building a ballroom, an ARCH, reflecting pool and now a Whitehouse bunker
With all the layoffs and rampant age discrimination in the hiring process, the feds should lower the Medicare age to 60. It's only gonna get worse folks. If ACA is repealed, you won't have any options for healthcare, except COBRA, which is prohibitively expensive for most people.
For those not eligible for pension/company provided healthcare post-retirement (most of us!), you can either use the company provided plan once COBRA ends or ACA/private marketplace. The company plan is very expensive; I ended up using the ACA/Obamacare plan. Within that plan you can get gold/silver/bronze level coverage that varies in price based on provider & region. Kaiser Permanente (where it's available) is the most cost effective option IMHO. SPecifically the bronze plan whish is also considered high deductible so you can constrbute to a HSA/savings account
the Orange felon got rid of ACA subsidies and now premiums have exploded. can't afford to breathe anymore.
Completely unaffordable. Obamacare is the only serious choice until Medicare at 65.
