It's not worth answering.
It's like asking if putting water in a car's gas tank will be better than using gas.

Not sure if this post is serious or not, but … I was displaced last year. Had a year’s worth of severance. I remember after about 3 days once it settled in, I looked at my spending, bills, etc. and decided to cut everything I didn’t absolutely need. Sold two cars, my boat, etc. Cut streaming, cable, etc. Saved a ton. Found a job six months into severance (30% less than I made at WF) and am actually saving money, investing more, etc. It was kind of a cool feeling to literally get rid of everything, save my home and a 2015 Honda Accord…it was liberating.
