This new WE initiative happening - they made a big deal about it on GK’s last company townhall but has anyone actually seen any progress, aside from badge access in MN hub? It’s supposed to help employees reduce the nonsense in their day to day jobs, but nonsense seems to be only increasing.

@kn It has already resulted in less flexibility, which is why so many of us were saying to STFU about assigned seating when the big RTO push started a couple years back. We were saying it would give the MC the perfect excuse to dig their heels in further regarding their real estate holdings, which would result in less flexibility, a higher rate of required in-office time, and eventually returning to being in office five days a week. People didn't want to listen, and now here we are. Hope it was worth it!
I know everyone was so vocal about dedicated seating but do we feel all that clamoring for it will result in less flexibility and just be an excuse for leadership to force us back in more days?
I was so excited to have the option to work from other Hub buildings in MSP/STP for a change of scenery and I truly don’t understand the point of that communication just to basically eliminate that option with dedicated seating throughout our hub. This company is so confusing sometimes!

What is WE?
I had to laugh at this today. I got informed that everybody in Portland is required to put a name plate on their desk but they're not allowed to order name plates for $10 each they have to use the little piece of paper tents, tent cards and put their name on that. Directors are telling us to not order or approve any requests or name plates.
This bank is that cheap.
WE is primarily a facade to pour money in to setting us up Offshore in India. We get basic (like a fycking badge access) while Chennai office gets the real goodies. I hope they share pics of those new office spaces from Chennai. Makes our offices look like sh-t holes.
