Why Cisco stock keeps falling?

The easy answer is that AI infrastructure is/has been/will be built out for the near term. This affects CSCO as the number 1 gear provider, the market has priced in the believed slow down in CSCO orders for coming quarters. CSCOs next wave could be campus refresh, some of those have happened already, not betting on that as the stock savior
if i am the CEO i would let go that Pat.l.., Cisco is not doing good w.r.t others, that cow p.e drinking guy needs to go.. who wants to drink cow pe. anyway... please hire some AF guys to lead csco..
market generally has short memory?
The same goes for Cisco employees. Starting in 2000 Cisco went from $82 to $8 where the peak intraday high was in the upper $500B range.
I know, wish i had that memory of $82 myself, i sold most of my stock at ~$50 sadly.. :-)

I'm looking at today when Cisco's revenues have just leveled up with the 2023 revenue plus the revenue from Splunk in 2024 when adjusting for inflation. 3 years just to get back to treading water. The trailing P/E from the end of Q4 was over 38.66. It's recent peak market cap was less than that 2000 peak not even adjusting for inflation. The idea Cisco's stock is worth more than twice it's 2023 price is a non sequitur.
Why Cisco stock keeps falling?
Who cares. Just sell upon vesting and invest in Google. Darn, Google also goes down.
@gq market generally has short memory?, i know csco said they set aside some x-x Mil for layoffs during last quarter readout, but that is spread over next x unknown quarts, so they did not say anything specific, if we see as good ... its little..., if we see as bad its a lot.. otherwise its just replacement as usual...
@gp I mean the issue about not announcing layoffs.
@gn hmm.. do you have reasonable amount of stocks?? otherwise your comment is mute, just saying...
@g1 It wouldn’t surprise me if they fix that issue in November.
stock would be up to $150 by today
i thought that guy said by nov/dec 2026. Not in sept(?), we might have to dig that post out. Market seems to like layoff + positive outlook for next quarter, this time there were no explicit layoffs mentioned.. so market seems not happy. Someone lowered target from 132 to 125, not sure other financial institutional analyst will do same before Nov2026. Stock would have been doing better if they(csco) had also said doing some limited layoffs for realignment in recent results.
I called this a month ago and some re--rd said that the stock would be up to $150 by today. I hope that guy is reading this right now. Hi dum--ss
@c0 not cool. Pls put back
Because I pulled all my money out.
Based on sec docs, G2 is now the 2nd biggest holder with 380k stocks after Chuck - 750k+ . Probably chuck is selling them more so others can pick up.
Kindly do the needful and dump the stock.
It was at $122 just before Q4's record earnings report. Now it's at $106! Groan.
Cisco doesn’t really have any vision beyond the next earnings call, so it’s not surprising investors are catching on. 😂

As if any logic could be applied to the CSCO stock...
