Instead of making everyone use kiosks for ordering because some employees were busted shoplifting, how about we pay people enough so they aren’t tempted to shoplift at work?

It kind of surprises me that anyone at Fidelity would jeopardize their job over a $5 meal. I think the vast majority of people are honest.

No people were literally stealing food. Like getting whatever they want and paying for a fit meal.
Just like at the grocery store, I refuse to use the kiosk when I could go to a person. I just stand there as long as it takes someone to come over because 1. I’m wasting time at work 2. I am not getting paid to do someone else’s job - and I want them to stay employed. We should all do a not so quiet rebellion and not use the kiosk - line up and wait.

Wow, I had no idea this had happened! Did they can the employees? As part of my RTO rebellion, I specifically avoid buying Flik food, but in the rare instance I had bought something from there previously, I can attest that the machines were quite fickle, so I can see how one could walk off without properly rendering payment, even if it was their intent to pay.
Just put the food on Abbys tab and walk out. Homegirl can pay for it.
Is that really why they did it?
My only experience with the kiosk so far has been about 60% of the menu not being available for purchase, so I see people walking out with stuff they think they paid for but arguably didn’t.
The staff say it’s fine even though it’s a root beer, but it was paid for as a Pepsi. Should be fun when it comes time for inventory.
I think this really highlights some of the fundamental and intrinsic issues going on at this company right now; ironically enough, it’s even spread to their food service.
